I’m just a goofball girl from Yorkshire with a passion for beautiful photos and a good ol' soppy love story!
Ever since I was a little girl I have always had a love for all things artistic and creative, whether it be acting, signing, dancing, drawing! I loved to be able to create something new and exciting. It wasn’t until I was a little older that the camera fell into my hands and I fell in love! I suppose my admiration for photography came from my wonderful Dad, who has been a keen photographer for many years, and after going into GCSE’s, A-Levels and finally my degree in photography, my love for the art just grew and grew!
Having gained a first class degree, doing something I adore, I decided to venture out setting up my own business, Alicia Eden Photography! I am delighted to say that I have been awarded Yorkshire & Humber Wedding Photographer of the year 2020, in the I Do Wedding Awards, as voted for by my incredible couples! *Yes, I ugly cried when I found out!*
My aim with your photos is to make them as honest and open as possible, capturing the essence of who you are as individuals, as well as the love and admiration you share together as a couple! I would say my style is a little more relaxed than some, pairing your gorgeous couple portraits with a more laid back and documentary style - creating fun, natural and romantic results!
I'M a complete and utter goofball with an obsession for animals and love for cheesy 90's tunes! I love to get to know my couples, who often become more like friends, allowing us to spend your day having fun with your photos, rather than feeling a little awkward in front of the camera! And being a soppy girl who loves all things wedding, I like to think I go that extra mile to hunt out all those gorgeous little details that Brides (…and Grooms) spend so much time and effort putting into their day!
And thats about it really, I’m just a normal girl with a love for what I do, and who I work with! There is nothing that makes me happier than seeing the smiles on the faces of my clients, then I know I’ve captured their day just how they wished it to be!
